APA 7 Citation Style: Cengage

There will be times, especially in discussion boards, when you will need to cite your Cengage textbooks. These textbooks are considered eBooks. Because Cengage is a subscription service, the URL you will need to use in your references list citation will be the portal page to Cengage, which is simply http://www.cengage.com. 

APA in-text (parenthetical) citations for direct quotes require a page number when using books. Because Cengage textbooks don't always provide page numbers easily, you can also use chapter and/or section numbers. The citation examples show you what this would look like.     

Please note that Cengage Unlimited (as with most of the digital resources at WCCC, including My Warren), does not work properly with Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, or Safari web browsers.
