"Resumes are used to make a favorable impression on a prospective employer. Your resume is often the first impression a potential employer has of you. For this reason, it is often referred to as one of the most crucial steps taken during a job search" (Resume, 2019).

Cover Letters
“The cover letter is a tool to help introduce yourself in a memorable, personal way during a job application. A well-crafted cover letter goes over information on your resume and expands this information for the reader, taking them on a guided journey of some of your greatest career and life achievements. When starting to write any cover letter, it is always best to plan the content of your letter based on the requirements of the job you’re applying for” (How to write a cover letter, 2019).
When you are applying for a job, many companies will ask you to submit a cover letter as well as your resume. Whether or not you are asked for a cover letter, you should always include one when submitting your resume. Each cover letter should be tailored to the job you are applying for.
